Deskripsi Produk
This cylinder is a cast blank, without piston and without head. This cylinder is a attempt to reissue a reproduction of the original Vespa SS180 cylinder. The casting as such as well as the positioning of the ducts in the cylinder is ok, but the cylinder was cast unnecessarily as Big Bore by the manufacturer. Therefore it can not be equipped with the available oversize pistons of the SS180.
Furthermore the threads for the mounting of the intake are partly cut crooked so that the hole of the intake manifold would have to be enlarged or individually adapted. Also the outer cylinder diameter at the base is with 72mm a bit too big for the original engine housing which has a diameter of 71,90mm.
The stud bolt holes are drilled bigger than the original cylinder, the centering pin is with 6,5mm too big for the 6mm hole in the bog housing.
The cylinder certainly offers a nice base for technically gifted screwdrivers.
So the cylinder offers enough wall thickness to drive it with a modified PX200 piston. All other shortcomings are certainly no obstacle in skilful hands to not let a strong cylinder emerge from it. Anyway, it is much nicer than equipping a SS180 with a PX200 engine...
The scope of delivery contains only the pure cylinder without any attachments.
